How to connect
HamTetra-Core is a TETRA core for amateur radio. Accounts are local to this core: your login is your DMR ID and your HamTetra-Core account password.
- Register at Register (or /register) with your 7-digit DMR ID and your callsign as registered on RadioID.net (in capital letters), a password you choose (at least 10 characters) and the answer to a simple question. The account imports the DMR IDs registered to your callsign from the local RadioID list.
- Configure your device with the settings below: host, port, TLS, your ID and the password for that connection. Apps and SmartConnect use your 7-digit DMR ID; a Brew BaseStation uses its assigned station ID, which may be a 9-digit station ID (DMR ID + 2 digits).
- Manage your IDs and password under My account.
An ID that is already registered by another account cannot be added: contact the administrator.

Network identity
MCC 901 · MNC 9999
Program every radio and base station (CPS / codeplug) with MCC 901 and MNC 9999. The codeplug and the station must use the same network identity.
Why MCC 901
901 is the country code for international networks. Operators from different countries share the same network identity on HamTetra-Core, instead of using a separate national code for each country.
Why MNC 9999
9999 is the network code configured for this HamTetra deployment. Use this value for its TMO stations and SmartConnect radios.
TETRA carries the MCC in 10 bits (0–1023) and the MNC in 14 bits (0–16383), so 901–9999 fits the standard. It is the identity of this amateur/experimental network. Keep the same identity in every radio and base station.
Meteorologia IPMA por SMS / SDS
A carregar o estado do serviço WX…

Talkgroups
Any group (GSSI) from 1 to 999999 can be used within the permissions of your connection. Pick a group with your peers and affiliate to it from the radio or client; it appears under Groups when affiliation is reported to the Core.
Identity
- Radios, apps and SmartConnect terminals use your 7-digit RadioID as ISSI.
- A Brew BaseStation may use an assigned 9-digit station ID (your DMR ID + 2 digits, 00–99). DMO repeaters use their dedicated station ID; a routing service ID such as 9999 is a separate field.
- The country shown in the dashboard is derived from the station configuration or the first three digits of the DMR ID.
- Never reuse a password from another service here; choose a separate password for this Core. SmartConnect uses your Core account password and the RadioID assigned to that account.

My account
Radio IDs use seven digits. The station identity range adds the suffix 00–99 to each ID. Apps, BaseStations and DIMETRA Connect use your Core account password. BaseStation logins add the suffix 00–99 to your RadioID. Up to 50 IDs can belong to one client account.
Refresh the IDs belonging to your callsign in the local RadioID database.

Station positions
A base station with coordinates appears on the Map. Choose the station account and set its position.
Register
Use your RadioID (six digits for a repeater or seven for a user) and its registered uppercase callsign. Choose a password with at least ten characters and answer the question below. The account imports the IDs belonging to that callsign from the local RadioID list.
